Drill Assistant – Entry Level or Experienced

We are seeking an ambitious and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Drill Assistant in the mining industry. No prior experience as a drill assistant is necessary, but a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to learn are essential. Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling equipment
  • Prepare drill sites by laying out equipment, materials, and supplies
  • Collaborate with the drill operator to ensure efficient and safe drilling operations
  • Follow safety protocols and report any safety concerns to the drill operator
  • Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure that they are in good working order

Experienced Sonic Driller

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sonic Driller to join our team in the mining industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safely and effectively executing sonic drilling projects and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain sonic drilling equipment in accordance with industry standards
  • Plan and execute sonic drilling projects, including site preparation and equipment setup
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide guidance on sonic drilling techniques
  • Ensure that safety protocols are followed and that drilling projects are executed efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure that they are in good working order
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced drillers

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a sonic driller
  • Proven track record of safely and effectively executing sonic drilling projects
  • Excellent knowledge of sonic drilling techniques and equipment
  • Strong commitment to safety and understanding of safety protocols
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
